The Gamma Phi Chapter of Sigma Chi at The University of

Miami is known for tradition. The Gamma Phi chapter is one of the three original fraternities associated with the founding of the University. This is shown by one of the few traditions that can be dated back to UMiami's founding. Each home football game when the Cane's score a touchdown you will see Sigma Chi brothers on the field and you will hear the roar of the Sigma Chi "Touchdown Tommy" cannon. For undergradute brothers and alumni alike the sound of "Touchdown Tommy" reminds us that I am and will always be a Sigma Chi.

At The University of Miami Sigma Chi boosts leadership in all aspects of college life; Scholastic, Social, Sports, and Leadership.  We are currently ranked in the top 10 of all Sigma Chi chapters GPA, known for outragious registered parties and mixers, always finish top 3 for Presidents Cup, and have over 3 presidents of student organizations.
